G & W Products, founded in 1968, excels in contract metal manufacturing, including stamping, laser cutting, fabrication, welding, tool and die work, powder coating, and assembly. Our facilities in Fairfield, OH span 190,000 square feet across three sites. We serve industries such as construction, transportation, energy, and defense.
We are hiring a delivery driver to represent us locally in Fairfield, OH. This role involves safely operating a box truck to deliver customer orders or pick up materials from vendors, ensuring professional representation of G&W Products. These deliveries are local, so you will be home every night.
Duties to Include:
Safely load and unload customer orders onto outgoing carriers or company vehicles and unload incoming material from vendors.Deliver items across G&W facilities as necessary.Maintain accurate counts of outgoing parts and internal inventory.Accurately verify and complete all required documentation associated with freight.Organize and manage multiple shipments while meeting customer deadlines.Adhere to all safety and quality guidelines. Conduct all required safety inspections of trucks and report any safety issues or necessary repairs.
Qualifications to include:
A clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past three years. Six months of commercial driving experience.Compliance with all state licensing and/or certification requirements Previous experience with Microsoft.Previous knowledge of ERP systems; familiarity with PLEX is advantageous.Previous forklift certification.CDL with class B is preferred.
