Position Description

Essential Duties:

  1. Ensures personal actions, and indirect oversight and leadership activities, support and adhere to the M-K safety culture and related safety policies and practices.
  2. Performs and oversees a variety of duties in order to deliver and fulfill scheduled and on-call general maintenance visits for CFM clients.
  3. Supervises the on-site aspects of T&M projects and/or assigned fixed-price construction projects to support the fulfillment of the projects as designed, on time and within budget by performing a variety of duties.
  4. Properly utilizes, maintains and oversees the use of company vehicles, tools and equipment; reports issues to appropriate team members.
  5. Reviews all work for compliance with all federal, state, city and county codes, regulations and other matters.
  6. Aggressively pursues opportunities to foster and grow relationships with current customers and referral sources and position the company for future sales; looks for opportunities for business development for other Divisions of Specialty Contracts and Groups within M-K.
  7. Proactively, professionally and with a team-focused attitude collaborates and communicates with members of management and team members throughout the Division, Group and the company, in order to integrate activities and achieve goals for the acquisition, retention and growth of client relationships and toward meeting the growth and profitability objectives for the Division, Group and the company.
  8. Fulfills all requirements relating to maintaining accurate, complete and organized records; provides a wide variety of reports to appropriate parties, as requested and required.
  9. Provides mentoring and training support to CFM field team members, including competency development, professionalism and career development, as appropriate.
  10. Supports and, as appropriate, actively participates in industry and commercial maintenance groups and events, in order to project a positive image of the company.
  11. Complies with established company operating policies and procedures in order to maintain adequate controls and to support the adherence to outside regulatory requirements.
  12. Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of sexual harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the work place.
  13. Responds to inquiries or requests relating to his/her particular area within given time frames and within established policy.
  14. Performs other related duties as assigned or directed.




Position Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


Proficient reading, writing, grammar and analytical skills; functional visioning, planning and forecasting abilities; proficient work management, leadership and coaching abilities; intimate knowledge and understanding of commercial facilities services project supervision and oversight and the relationship between effective field servicing processes and project profitability; an entrepreneurial drive and inclination toward growing customer and referral network relationships; proficient computer skills and the demonstrated ability to use project management software applications; capability to effectively oversee and supervise projects and a drive to achieve and produce results on time; proficient interpersonal relations and communications skills; collaborative and generative attitudes and abilities toward working as part of a team; visual and auditory skills; valid driver's license.


Education / Experience:

  1. A High School Diploma or equivalent; specific training and education focused on the commercial building and equipment maintenance; HVAC Master license; OSHA training, CPR and Standard First Aid training/certification; Green card for SCE preferred.
  2. A minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience as a Foreman or skilled craftsman with a commercial construction company

While performing the duties of this job, the Field Services Supervisor is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs and ladders, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. The work may be performed at various heights. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
