Job Summary
Join the team that is revolutionizing the timing industry with the best silicon Microelectromechanical Systems (MEMS) timing products in the world. As a Sr MEMS Engineer, you will work on development and characterization of the next generation of SiTime products. This includes hands-on work in the RF lab, device- and wafer-level measurements, and data analysis. It is not necessary to meet all job requirements to be a qualified candidate for the position.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the vibration sensitivity characterization and R&D activities to improve vibration resilience of MEMS products
- Perform the engineering failure analysis to root cause product issues
- Run the device-level and wafer-level characterization of MEMS resonators
- Participate in MEMS resonator design and development
- Drive and/or support projects and other company goals as needed
Qualifications & Requirements:
- PhD +3y experience in MEMS, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or equivalent. Exceptional candidates with other technical backgrounds will be considered.
- Skilled scientist with ability to design, conduct, and analyze experiments
- Experience with ultrasonic vibration testing and LDVs
- Experience with product failure analysis and root-causing issues
- Experience with multiphysics simulations: electrical, mechanical, thermal
- Experience with automated testing, wafer probing and instrumentation
- Proficiency in MATLAB or Python for data analysis
- Strong hands-on RF lab skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

The annual base salary range for this role is $95,450.00 – $153,550.00. The final offer is determined by factors such as location, experience, education, and training.
In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for a quarterly bonus tied to the achievement of innovation goals—reflecting our commitment to recognizing meaningful impact. We also offer equity grants, providing a meaningful opportunity to share in the company’s future growth and success.
