We are seeking a motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support our providers and ensure an exceptional patient experience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians and advanced practice providers with patient examinations and in-office procedures
     
  • Prepare and stock examination rooms, ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are available
     
  • Obtain and accurately document patient vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints
     
  • Support patient intake and manage daily patient flow efficiently
     
  • Collect and process laboratory specimens and perform basic point-of-care testing as needed
     
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient records within the EHR system
     
  • Provide patient education regarding treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure instructions
     
  • Adhere to all OSHA, HIPAA, safety, and infection control protocols
     
  • Assist with prior authorizations, referrals, and other clinical administrative duties as needed

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED), medical assistant diploma from an accredited college or vocational institution.
  • Experience: Minimum two years of recent experience working in a medical facility as a medical assistant.
  • eCW experience preferred.
  • Required to pass a Level II background screening.

  • Knowledge of specific assisting tasks related to particular medical practice.
  • Knowledge of information that must be conveyed to patients and families.
  • Skill in performing medical assistance tasks appropriately.

  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and complete delegated tasks.
