Shining Rock Golf Club is a premier public golf course located in Northbridge, Massachusetts.
Our food and beverage team supports daily clubhouse dining, on course refreshments as well as tournaments, leagues, corporate outings, weddings, and private events throughout the season. We are seeking friendly, reliable beverage cart attendants to provide exceptional on-course service to golfers and help enhance the overall guest experience.
Position Overview
The Beverage Cart Attendant is responsible for providing beverage and snack service to golfers throughout the course while maintaining a professional and friendly presence. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while operating the beverage cart.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the beverage cart throughout the golf course to offer beverages and snacks to golfers
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with service standards
- Maintain proper inventory and stock levels on the beverage cart
- Accurately process payments and follow cash handling procedures
- Verify guest identification and comply with all alcohol service regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the beverage cart
- Communicate with clubhouse staff regarding inventory and service needs
- Provide friendly and professional service to enhance the guest experience
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
Qualifications
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and interact with guests in a professional manner
- Comfortable operating a golf cart across the golf course terrain and must posses a valid driver's licenser
- Flexible availability including late evenings, weekends and holidays
- TIPS certification Required
