Responsibilities:


A Configuration Manager plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing the configuration management processes for our aerospace projects. Here's a brief overview of the typical responsibilities and qualifications for this role:

  • Develop and maintain Agile’s configuration management plan.
  • Managing the configuration management database.
  • Establish and control configuration baselines.
  • Control changes to configuration items and their documentation.
  • Conduct audits and reviews of the configuration management system.
  • Maintain and manage tools and systems used for configuration management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate configuration management practices smoothly.
  • Create and distribute reports on configuration status, metrics, and compliance.
  • Analyze and resolve issues related to configuration discrepancies and recommend improvements to processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or similar field.
  • Work experience as a Configuration Manager or similar role
  • Experience with configuration management tools.
  • Strong knowledge of the product development lifecycle, systems engineering, configuration management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve quality issues effectively.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and integrity of configurations and data.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • 8-10+ years of experience in configuration within the aerospace sector.
  • Experience implementing configuration management systems.
  • Strong technical writing skills
  • Professional certification in configuration management.

Employment Type: Exempt

Salary: $102,000-$150,000 Final compensation will be based on factors such as experience, skills, and internal equity, and is typically made within the midrange, rather than the upper end.  

Work Schedule: Full Time

Location: Onsite in Durango, CO
