Mechanic Assistant

Responsibilities include assisting full time mechanics with all aspects of maintenance and repair work on Park District equipment. Basic service work on gas and diesel engines, tire repairs, and answering service calls will be required. Work hours are weekdays 6:00am to 2:30pm. The position runs approximately from May 1st through September.

Individuals must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license. Applicant should have mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn and the ability to lift 50lbs.
