About the Role:

As a Personal Banker II, you will provide quality customer service while conducting a variety of savings, checking, and credit transactions. Responsibilities include maintaining a cash drawer, performing teller transactions, balancing cash daily, opening new consumer accounts, and assisting established customers with their personal banking needs. This role requires advanced knowledge of bank products and services and the ability to recommend solutions that meet customer needs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Perform retail transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing; balance cash drawer daily and assist with vault and ATM balancing as needed.
  • Open and maintain consumer accounts; process account changes accurately and prepare documentation such as signature cards, debit cards, wires, and stop payments.
  • Explain bank products and services; proactively cross-sell and make retention and business development calls to existing and potential customers.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally; escalate complex matters when necessary.
  • Process related services including check orders, wire transfers, sweeps, service charges, and dispute forms for ATM, debit, and ACH transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with CIP, BSA, AML and all bank policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Maintain a professional work environment and a strong record of attendance and punctuality.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience: two years of banking or related experience.
  • Skills: Customer service, sales, multitasking, decision-making under pressure.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to process transactions and documentation with high accuracy to minimize risk.
  • Technical: Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Preferred: 2-years retail banking experience; bilingual (English/Spanish).

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Account Growth: Number of new accounts opened monthly.
  • Transaction Accuracy: Timely and error-free processing of complex transactions (wires, ACH disputes, loan payments and related transactions).
  • Customer Satisfaction: Measured via surveys and complaint resolution time.
  • Compliance Accuracy: Zero compliance violations; timely completion of required training; adherence to CIP, BSA, AML and dual control protocols

$20.0 - $21.0 Hourly Wage
