Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as the primary medical administrator responsible for overseeing healthcare needs and medication management for all individuals served.

- Lead medical coordination efforts to ensure compliance with Rule 116 across all residential settings.

- Develop and deliver training programs for contractual and on-call Registered Nurses (RNs), Medical Liaisons, and other healthcare staff.

- Collaborate with the CDS Nurse to ensure seamless healthcare service delivery and adherence to best practices.

- Support healthcare service growth initiatives by providing program support and contributing to strategic planning.

- Monitor and ensure compliance with all internal policies, external healthcare standards, regulations, and licensing requirements.

- Assist in the implementation of healthcare policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.

- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting related to healthcare operations and training activities.

- Stay current with industry regulations and best practices to continuously improve healthcare services.


Skills and Qualifications:

- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.

- Proven experience in healthcare training, program management, or clinical supervision.

- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, including Rule 116 and other relevant standards.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and collaborate with diverse teams.

- Ability to develop and deliver educational content tailored to various audiences.

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

- Commitment to quality improvement and compliance in healthcare settings.

- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required; Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or Public Health preferred.

Registered Nurse with a valid, current Illinois Professional license.

Completed RNT training through the State of Illinois within 120 days of hire.

$70000.00 - $75000.00 Annual Salary
