Role will be a working lead position with a team of assemblers, and will be responsible for day to workload assignment, productivity, quality, and training in the assembly cells.

Position Responsible For:
- Complete and troubleshoot standardized mechanical or electrical assemblies, including all sub and final unit and assemblies
- Performing functional testing and quality reviews of equipment, documenting non-conformances.
- Collaborate with department manager to establish weekly schedule.
- Day to day floor leadership of assembly production team: providing daily direction/priorities, monitoring productivity, work habits, and leading cross training efforts.
- Monitory/track assembly department tools, quality, and production output
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with other departments or with leadership for components as needed
- Actively engage in identifying efficiency or process improvement opportunities
- Participate in performance review evaluations and assist leadership in identifying when disciplinary/corrective approaches to performance may be needed
- Assistin developing recommendations or modifications for improvements in cell level equipment, tooling, layout as needed to support core or future workload
- Enhance existing work instructions and develop new documentation where applicable
Starting pay based on applicable/related assembly and leadership experience.

Requirements
- 3+ years progressive experience in both moderate to high complexity mechanical and electrical assembly style work
- Enjoy a working lead role and desire to be hands on leadership
- Some prior leadership experience preferred, but not necessarily required
- Detail and efficiency orientated
- Natural aptitude for teaching/training others
- Strong mechanical inclination and problem solving abilities
- Must be able to regularly lift up to 40lbs and stand for 8-10 hours/day
