AI Signal Research, Inc. (ASRI) is recruiting for the Redstone Test and Engineering Services contract in the Huntsville, Alabama area.
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Months/Years of Experience: One (1) year of applicable experience in engineering technical work that developed skills in making measurements using test instruments and computing; or two (2) years of applicable college/vocational/military/technical school.
Required Qualifications: Must be a U.S. Citizen and have or be able to obtain a DoD security clearance.
Desired Qualifications: Experience in data collection; data entry; proficiency in typing (40 words/minute) and PC systems; understand USG regulations; basic math skills. Prefer some experience or exposure to aircraft and aircraft maintenance records.
Duties: Collect/record operational and maintenance data on assigned U.S. Army rotary wing aircraft/systems IAW customer and test plan directives; assist the Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) Data project lead manager in data quality assurance and preparing scheduled reports; review maintenance and flight records; write narrative description of events in the Test Incident Reports (TIR) and initial quality assurance review forms; compile monthly and quarterly reports; occasional travel, shift, weekend, and holiday work.
