Indoor Greenhouse Sales Associate
Seasonal- Hiring Multiple Candidates

Job Duties:

Work directly on sales floor, and registers, throughout the store, assisting customers and accomplishing “Bachman’s Customer Service Culture”
Process all POS transactions according to established procedures including delivery orders in OA, sales, returns and transfers.
Maintain store appearance with general cleaning, caring for plants, dusting, stocking and displaying merchandise.
Answer customer questions, provide information and process orders.
Provide accurate, timely and friendly service to Bachman’s customers
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

This position requires lifting up to 50 pounds waist high.
Lifting plants and buckets above shoulder.
Greenhouse environment with temperatures over 80 degrees 50% of the year.
Able to work at a fast pace, standing for the entire work shift.
Must be able to work with products known to cause allergic responses in some people.
This position requires excellent customer relations and communication skills.
Must be able to read and write in English and perform basic math skills.
Past cashier experience is preferred.
Must have the ability to service Bachman’s customer as the NUMBER ONE priority.
Have basic understanding and knowledge of plants and plant care.
Assist customers with choosing plants and answer their plant questions

Schedule:

Flexible work schedule/Retail store hours (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays)
Expected to work a minimum of half the weekend days each month, in May preferably more.
Mother's Day weekend has required work shifts.

Compensation: $16.37/hour
