About the Role:
- Create a positive retail experience for patients, families, staff, visitors, and all others through in-person, and phone interactions while maintaining a clean, well-stocked, and organized gift shop.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Demonstrate excellence and knowledge in products being sold.
- Operate a computerized Point of Sale system, managing inventory control, returns, profitability, and cost of goods.
- Support the Manager of Retail Operations with projects and requests specific to the Gift Shop, the Gift Shop Team, and work in a timely fashion to complete organizational requirements and trainings.
- Extend warm greetings to patients, visitors, and staff, fostering a welcoming environment.
- Engage with friendliness, care, and a focus on building connections.
- Anticipate and rapidly respond to guest needs, taking ownership of issues until resolved.
- Embrace diversity and foster inclusivity in all interactions.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: HS Diploma/GED preferred
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience. Retail experience preferred. Basic computer skills.
- Mondays and Fridays from noon to 5 pm. Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 to 7:30 pm. Mondays and Fridays will change depending on need. Schedule varies depending on season and staff schedule.
Rate of pay is $17/hour
