Relationship Banker

About this position

We are seeking a highly motivated and client-focused Relationship Banker! As a Relationship Banker, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, providing them with exceptional service. You will manage a personal portfolio of consumer and small business banking relationships including loans, deposits, and treasury management services. This role includes support of the commercial banking team in management of large commercial client relationships.


Requirements

Manage Client Relationships to Create Advocates

  • Provide loans to consumer and small business
  • Provide depository and treasury management products and services to consumers and small business
  • Grow personal portfolio of consumer and small business clients
  • Completes relationship reviews for clients
  • Supports commercial banking in management of large commercial client relationships

Business Development

  • Promotes and refers bank products and services, including bank products, wealth management, and merchant processing
  • Builds network of referral sources for new business
  • Manages onboarding of new client relationships

Supports Bank Lobby Operations

  • Provides coverage and support as required to serve clients and willingly travels to other locations as needed
  • Complies with service and quality standards
  • Identifies and prevents fraudulent activity

Administrative

  • Maintains personal training and development plan focused on product knowledge
  • Complies with all regulations, policies and procedures
  • Audit integrity, risk management, and security of bank and staff

Qualifications

  • At minimum, a high school diploma
  • Additional education/bank-related training preferred
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of related retail banking experience
