About this position

Description:

Roustabout Laborers work with crews building fence, general site clean-up, mowing and snow removal during winter.

Ability to work Weekdays, Nights, Weekends when required


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Perform oil field related roustabout duties
  • Able to lift 50-70lbs regularly throughout the course of a workday
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely
  • Install fencing at designated locations both temporary and permanent
  • Maintain existing fences at various locations
  • Install cattle guards and/or culvert where directed
  • Work nights, weekends, and holidays if necessary
  • Use safe driving techniques anytime operating vehicles or equipment
  • Complete daily equipment inspections and report any malfunctions with equipment immediately 
  • Perform duties in extreme weather conditions
  • Always wear personal protective equipment while on location
  • Review Job Safety Analysis for each location or jobsite. - Read, Print, Sign understanding of JSA

All employees participate in weekly training (26 hours annually) conducted by their supervisor/leader with added daily safety meetings. Lone Tree Services assigns safety responsibilities to every manager in every location. The Safety Manager monitors compliance with the safety manual, processes, and training. Full compliance is required for all subcontractors and is strictly monitored. Our innovative safety program has been written in compliance with federal, state, and local requirements such as OSHA, DOT, and EPA standards. We provide initial safety and orientation training reinforced with daily and weekly safety instruction and inspection. We meet or exceed recommended experience modification rates with many companies.


Employees may also be required to obtain other site-specific safety credentials as mandated by clients or regulatory authorities.

Requirements:

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Roustabout 1: Possesses SOP on all power tools. Less than two-year experience.

Roustabout 2: Possesses a valid Drivers license. DOT driver file and medical card. Clear MVR SOP on all power tools. SOP on a company owned pickup- (No- Trailers). At least two year experience at Roustabout 1

Roustabout 3: Possesses a Class A CDL and a clear MVR. SOP on all company owned pickups and trailers. SOP on all equipment (mini- Ex, Skidsteer, backhoe). More than two year experience. 

Roustabout 4: Able to lead a crew and run multiple jobsites; perform managerial tasks and complete all paperwork. Fluent in English and Spanish preferred. Able to communicate with company men. 


General job Hazards:

  • Employees are required to drive in extreme weather conditions such as heavy snow, snow packed roads, icy roads, strong winds, and any other weather conditions that could be considered hazardous. 
  • Employees are required to enter and exit their truck throughout the day injuries resulting from slips, trips, and falls are common. Employees are required to utilize the tree points of contact system while entering or exiting their vehicles
  • Hazards from other motorists. Drivers must exercise safe driving practices
  • Site Specific Hazards on location
