Position Overview:
The Foley Entertainment Group LLC (“FEG”) – which operates the National Hockey League’s Vegas Golden Knights in addition to several other sports, venue and hospitality entities – is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill a part-time Warehouse Supervisor position. The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee the efficient receipt, storage and delivery of retail product and supplies. Ultimately, the supervisor should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly. This is a fast-paced environment with high expectations that rely heavily on efficiency and organization. This is a hands-on position that will require someone that is a skilled multi-tasker with attention to detail and can manage multiple facets of warehouse operations simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
- Establish, execute and follow warehouse practices and protocol to achieve efficient warehouse operation
- Supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, receiving and customer service
- Oversee daily operations while controlling and managing inventory and logistics
- Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures and by complying with legal regulations
- Provide timely responses and feedback to all members within the organization as well as external vendors and customers
- Keep up to date on the latest Federal and State Safety Regulations
- Communicate effectively with buying and executive management partners on product receipt
- Coordinate and facilitate product deliveries to stores, ensuring quick delivery of product to retail locations
- Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly and oversee general maintenance when necessary
- Effectively maintain a neat, clean and organized office and warehouse space
- Ensure all security measures are enforced and maintained
- Provide hands-on support to team members
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, with 2 or more years of experience in a warehouse role
- Proficiency with warehouse procedures and policies
- Strong organizational, leadership and problem-solving skills
- Comfort in and willingness to work on/with warehouse equipment (i.e. forklift, pallet jack, hand truck, tall industrial ladder, etc.)
- Intermediate computer skills; knowledge of general software and applications
- Ability to multi-task with mechanical aptitude
- Reliably contribute to a positive work environment
- Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the enterprise
- Proven ability to work with a team of people with different personalities and skillsets
- Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal
- Current and valid driver’s license with satisfactory DMV driving record
- Ability to stand, push, stoop, balance, kneel, crouch, crawl and lift up to 50 pounds
