Requirements for U.S. Candidates:
Citizenship:

Education:
- Diploma or certificate as an Emergency Medical Technician, or training in a Paramedical Science course of no less than twelve (12) months leading to the award of a diploma, associate degree, or bachelor’s degree in Paramedical Science
- Current, valid National Registry Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification issued for eligibility for employment and current, valid, and unrestricted license in one of the U.S. states, territories, commonwealths, or the District of Columbia (if state required)
- A minimum of two (2) years of progressive clinical experience as an EMT or paramedic working in a pre-hospital care setting after certification/licensure
- Current, valid certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
