Full-Time | Overnight Shift
Position Summary
Tanglewood Resort is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our Front Desk team. The Night Auditor plays a critical role in ensuring smooth overnight operations, delivering exceptional guest service, and completing accurate daily financial reporting.
This position combines front desk hospitality responsibilities with accounting and audit functions during overnight hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding guest service during overnight hours
- Check guests in and out efficiently and professionally
- Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns
- Perform nightly audit procedures and reconcile daily transactions
- Balance cash drawers, credit card settlements, and room revenue
- Prepare and distribute daily financial and operational reports
- Ensure accuracy of reservations and guest billing
- Maintain lobby cleanliness and security awareness overnight
- Handle emergency situations calmly and professionally
Qualifications
- Previous hotel front desk or night audit experience preferred
- Basic accounting or cash-handling experience required
- Strong computer skills (hotel PMS experience a plus)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently overnight
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Dependable and punctual
Schedule & Requirements
- Overnight shift (typically 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Weekends and holidays required
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to handle cash and confidential information responsibly
