Personal Care Technician (Caregiver)

Maintain respectful and professional boundaries with residents and staff.Meal planning and preparation.Personal care and appearance (e.g., bathing, toileting, transferring, dressing, and exercising) as needed.Administering medications accuratelyKeep a tidy and organized home, including helping with laundry, trash, and cleaning.Offer help with solving problems and provide companionship.Assist residents in the community with recreational activities and doctor visits.Keep records and documentation.Ability to collaborate effectively with a team.Ability to work independently while staying organized and efficient.Participation in scheduled job-related training, house meetings, and supervisory meetings.Help residents to develop and expand their involvement in community activities and to build relationships with family, friends, and neighbors.Comply with the HIPAA Privacy Act by safeguarding confidential consumer information.Perform all other assigned duties.

Health Promotion and MaintenanceEstablish a safe work environment.Listening, analyzing information, and focusing on quality.Physical ability to use hands and arms for reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and lifting to 50 lbs., while avoiding injury from transferring, repositioning, or lifting residents.

Must be able to meet the post-offer requirements (i.e., Wisconsin Caregiver Background, medical screenings, and pre-employment drug screening).Must be able to work weekends, including every other Saturday and Sunday.
