Help build Blue Grass Airport’s new police department from the ground up. Be part of establishing the structure, culture
and community policing policies of the department. Sworn law enforcement officers perform the traditional Police Officer
responsibilities in a unique, family-friendly traveling environment. Enforce the policies of and interact with Homeland Security and
the Transportation Security Administration. You can have a positive impact every day.
We are hiring POPS Certified Police Officers with a minimum of one year as a sworn officer. Certified Police Officers from another
state who have served at least one year as a sworn officer must contact KLEC to inquire about reciprocity. Tattoos and body
piercings are permitted in accordance with the department policy.
