About this position
Are you passionate about helping individuals reclaim their lives from substance use disorders? We are seeking a Qualified Addiction Specialist to provide integrated, compassionate care for individuals served with dual diagnoses. In this role, youll assess, treat, and support recovery while collaborating closely with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure continuity of medical, mental health, and addiction services across the site.
What Youll Do
- Conduct
assessments and diagnoses for individuals with substance use disorders.
- Develop
and deliver substance use education, counseling, and treatment programs.
- Collaborate
with employees who provide medical and detox services to support holistic
care.
- Contribute
to treatment planning, discharge planning, and aftercare strategies.
- Provide
consultation and training to staff on substance use disorders.
- Maintain
accurate documentation and compliance with reporting requirements.
What Were Looking For
Education
- MD,
DO, PA, or APRN from an accredited university (required).
Experience
- Two
(2) years of clinical experience in addictions (preferred).
Licenses/Certifications
- Current
licensure as a physician, PA, or APRN in the state of practice (required).
- Board
Certified or Board Eligible in Addiction Medicine or Addiction Psychiatry (required).
- Current
DEA certification (required).
