We are currently seeking an experienced:

CLINICAL ANALYST - LEVEL 2

Full Time, Days

Job Summary:

  • Creates reference and training manuals for clinical based software.
  • Develops and assists others in developing work processes and all other functions.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise discretion in a fast-paced environment.
  • Determines root cause of software issues and consults with resources to identify resolutions.
  • Provides assistance to skilled clinicians regarding clinical questions.
  • Provides e-mail and telephone responses to questions from locations, and corporate offices.
  • Interfaces with software vendors to resolve/troubleshoot clinical based software issues.
  • Provides in-services and training in all Liberty locations.
  • Creates processes and procedures.
  • Reviews processes and procedures and recommends revisions to management.
  • Independently manages projects related to the software set up and education of staff of new acquisitions
  • Coordinates clinical based software training for staff and other Medical Professionals (Physicians/Nurse Practitioners)
  • Schedules classes, assigns and distributes clinical based software devices
  • Reviews utilization of clinical based software devices
  • Interprets workforce practices and data and provides thoughtful solutions to issues.
  • Facilitates review, understanding of, and appropriate distribution of user manuals.
  • Maintains and Submits HIS files to state database.
  • Provides management with expert advice related to OASIS and HIS assessments and database that is required for financial and regulatory decision-making.
  • Monitors/interprets Oasis Error reports/Validation reports.
  • Schedules/attends meeting and offers advice to management.
  • Troubleshoots software issues and works with vendors towards a resolution, if resolution requires enhancements or configuration changes, facilitates such with management.
  • Analyzes effectiveness of existing and recommended work processes and formulates practices for improvement.
  • Involved in long and short-term planning to meet the company’s business objectives.
  • Responsible for assigning tasks to manage completion of projects.

Job Requirements:
  • Nursing Degree (Associate Degree or Higher); 3-5 years of clinical experience (preferably in a Home Health or Skilled Nursing environment), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Effective verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills and excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong computer skills/aptitude.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of clinical based point of care software.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Thorough knowledge of reimbursement guidelines.
  • Continued education requirements (16 hours annually) for nurses.
  • Frequent travel to branch offices.
  • Must be available for on-call rotation duty.
