Sales Development Specialist: Fueling Customer Growth & Early-Stage Pipeline Success
Are you an energetic communicator who enjoys connecting with people and uncovering opportunities? As a Sales Development Specialist at Park Industries, you’ll play a key role in building the top of our sales and service pipeline. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals passionate about sales, customer engagement, and driving early-stage business growth through outbound outreach, inbound lead qualification, event support, and CRM follow-up.
You’ll work closely with Sales Consultants, Customer Service, Marketing, and leadership to help identify high-potential prospects and ensure qualified leads progress effectively through the pipeline.

Requirements:What You’ll Do
As a Sales Development Specialist, you’ll support the growth of Park’s sales pipeline through proactive outreach, organized follow-up, and effective lead qualification.
Lead Generation & Prospect Engagement
- Research and identify potential leads through online platforms, industry events, inbound inquiries, and digital tools.
- Conduct outbound outreach via phone, email, and social media to spark interest in Park Industries’ equipment and post-install services.
- Maintain a consistent follow-up cadence to nurture potential customers.
- Conduct early-stage discovery to evaluate prospect needs, timelines, and buying readiness.
Lead Qualification & CRM Management
- Qualify inbound leads based on defined criteria and hand off ready opportunities to Sales Consultants.
- Maintain accurate and detailed lead records in HubSpot CRM.
- Track daily activity metrics (calls, emails, meetings set, conversions) and provide weekly updates.
Event Engagement & Follow-Up
- Participate in trade shows, Park events, and industry functions to capture and qualify leads.
- Conduct post-event outreach to convert event leads into qualified opportunities.
Cross-Functional Support
- Provide administrative support to the National Sales Director and VP of Sales & Marketing.
- Assist with inside sales activities including quote creation, contract preparation, and CRM updates.
- Offer territory-level insights to support sales planning.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives related to lead management efficiency.
Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field — or equivalent experience.
- 0–2 years of related experience in sales, customer service, or marketing, preferred.
- Experience working with CRM tools, preferred.
Work Schedule
As a Sales Development Specialist at Park Industries, you will work standard business hours Monday through Friday, with a hybrid work arrangement that combines travel and remote work flexibility with onsite collaboration at our St. Cloud, MN office.

Pay Transparency Statement
In accordance with pay transparency regulations, the anticipated starting salary for this position ranges from $52,000 to $64,000 annually. Please note that the salary range provided is an estimate and not a guarantee; the final offer will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, location, and assigned shift. Full-time employees may also be eligible for variable compensation, company-wide incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package. Additionally, the availability of benefits and programs may vary depending on the hire date, employment type, and hours worked.
