Summary

Kelli’s is currently seeking a Janitor to join our Facilities team.  As Janitor you will play an essential role in keeping Kelli’s facilities clean, safe, and welcoming. This position is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks, including mopping and vacuuming floors, disinfecting surfaces and restrooms, and emptying trash and recycling containers. By ensuring a sanitary and orderly environment, the Janitor helps support the overall success and daily operations of the business.

Responsibilities

• Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, etc)

• Carry out cleansing tasks and special projects

• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs

• Stock and maintain supply rooms

• Follow all health and safety regulations

• Other duties when assigned

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies

• Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery

• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time

• Understanding of workplace safety standards

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks

Work Environment

• Primarily indoors in a climate-controlled building

• Standing and walking for extended periods
