Job Summary:

The Network Engineer/LII Support is a member of the IT team that also includes the Director of Information Systems. The role supports the mission and values of Maple City Health Care Center (MCHCC) by ensuring that the technical systems infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently. 


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in decision making and implementation of network infrastructure  
  • Assist in configuration and maintenance of cloud infrastructure  
  • Assist with firewall configurations and security changes  
  • Assist with creation and maintenance of network access policies and procedures  
  • Assist with L1 support requests that are escalated in the event of complications  
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues and outages  
  • Create and maintain technical documentation in a shared database   
  • Manage and maintain inventory of system equipment and parts  
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure ordering and installation of hardware and services  
  • Provide training and assistance to users on software and hardware   
  • Other duties that support our shared work, as assigned

Requirements:

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience with internal network systems 
  • Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude 
  • Self-motivated critical thinker 
  • Effective communication skills 
  • Education and Experience: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in the technology field is preferred but not required   
  • Minimum 2 years in IT industry required 
  • Experience in customer support and troubleshooting is preferred but not required   
  • Experience with the following tools is preferred but not required:  
  • Microsoft Active Directory  
  • Microsoft Deployment Tools  
  • Microsoft O365 Administration Tools  
  • Firewall, Switch, and Access Point Management  
  • Network Policies Administration  
  • Remote Troubleshooting  


Requirements:

  • Ability to perform considerable time sitting, reaching. 
  • Occasional travel between sites  
  • Ability to perform prolonged periods of time in front of a computer.

Salary Information

$76294.00 - $87443.00 Annual Salary
