Production Assistant 

Weigel Productions is a collaborative production environment that seeks thoughtful, professional and hardworking individuals to join its creative team. The Production Assistant will work closely with producers and crew to assist in the creation of multiple productions. The ideal candidate must be intellectually curious, a strong communicator, and highly organized as well as a team player who is very detail oriented and a strong multi-tasker.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Organize and maintain props, costumes, talent wardrobe and props cage

Research, source/secure appropriate props and wardrobe for production

Submit expense reports to accounting

Prep props, costumes and talent wardrobe for taping

Assist with set preparation 

Respond to daily production needs

Assist talent with costume/wardrobe changes

Provide essential support to creative team

Conduct editorial research and fact checking

Assist producers with finding visual assets

Pitch segment ideas and episodic themes

Communicate across departments

Provide on-site support on field shoots

Other duties, as assigned.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $38,000-45,000 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
