Mental Health Technician / CNA – Compassionate Caregiver Needed (Female Client)

We are urgently seeking a kind, compassionate Mental Health Technician / CNA to support a female client who requires extra emotional care and consistency. This position is ideal for someone who views caregiving as a calling—not just a job and have reliable transportation to Bloomingdale/Hanover park area. This is for immediate start the week of 1/26/26

This female senior client thrives in a calm, clean, and nurturing environment. Cleanliness is very important to her—she feels safest and happiest when her space is neat, fresh, and well cared for. A caregiver who takes pride in hygiene, organization, and creating a peaceful atmosphere will make a meaningful difference in her life.

This role requires patience, emotional awareness, and a genuine desire to help someone feel safe, respected, and valued every day.

Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate mental health support and personal care, meal prep and medication reminder

• Maintain a clean, organized, and pleasant living environment

• Assist with daily living activities while promoting dignity and independence

• Offer emotional support, reassurance, and consistent presence

• Follow care plans and communicate effectively with the care team and family

• Shift is 9am to 7pm daily including weekends ( looking for 2 people to split a 7 day shift)

• Pay is $19 to $22 per hour based on experience, availability and reliability

Qualifications:

• CNA certification required

• Mental health experience strongly preferred

• Kind, patient, and emotionally attentive

• Detail-oriented with high standards for cleanliness and hygiene

• Reliable, trustworthy, and professional
