Job Summary
The Compliance Manager is a high-accountability leadership role that fully owners the inspection department’s financial and operational integrity. This individual acts as the primary "Revenue Chaser," responsible for all revenue brought in by inspectors, while maintaining rigorous quality control and efficiency standards through daily routing management and field audits.
Duties & Functions
- Revenue & Billing Ownership: Assume full responsibility for ensuring all revenue generated by inspectors is captured. This includes direct management of the billing process and reviewing returned inspections for unbilled revenue.
- Daily Route Control: Lead daily meetings with inspectors to provide strategic routing. Conduct monthly audits of monitor hours and routes to ensure maximum operational efficiency.
- Quality Control & Site Audits: Perform frequent, unscheduled follow-up audits on inspector sites to examine accuracy and adherence to standards.
- Personnel Leadership: Manage the full employee lifecycle for the inspection team, including hiring and firing.
- System Mastery (NetSuite): Utilize NetSuite for all billing, reporting, and data management, ensuring 100% accuracy in the system of record.
- KPI Management: Set and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to meet revenue targets and reporting accuracy, reporting results directly to Senior Management.
- Customer Relationships: Act as a key point of contact for clients, resolving site issues and leveraging relationships to protect and grow revenue.
- Team Development: Oversee the 4-week training of new hires to ensure the SWPPP/inspection concept and company standards are mastered.
- Operational Expansion: Prepare to integrate Post-Construction management and related workflows as the model stabilizes.
Qualifications & Standards
- A valid driver’s license and ability to meet insurance requirements for past driving record (Required)
- Technical Proficiency: Must be an expert user of NetSuite and Microsoft Office.
- Leadership Excellence: Proven experience as a "people leader" with the ability to manage diverse teams in the field.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to audit data for efficiency and "chase" revenue gaps.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and all internal departments.
- Safety & Compliance: A valid driver’s license and the ability to meet insurance requirements are required.
