About this position
I. POSITION PURPOSE
To assist Recreation Supervisor, Club Events Manager, and other management in delivering professional services while maintaining a well-kept Pool Deck and Beach. Assist with daily engagement of membership of all ages during special activities and events.
II. ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Monitor pool and check in in hot and often difficult weather conditions
- Maintain member names and keep in good relations
- Work within a team to run the pool with the highest level of customer service
- Know and actively enforce pool rules for the safety of members and guests
- Ensure all members and their guests are abiding by the guidelines and policies of the Club
- Actively engage membership of all ages
- Assist with activities for kids
- Distribute towels upon member entry
- Maintain towel inventory in towel shed
- Set up and breakdown pool deck and beach operations daily
- Operation of the pool, cleanliness of the deck, stocking of towels and cleanliness of bathroom (making hourly checkups)
- Maintain locker room par levels
- Assist with Driftwood service, as necessary
- Helping service staff clean up
- Cleaning and maintaining beach and dunes
- Wear proper and clean uniforms at all times
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
III. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- At least 16 years of age
- Experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified, preferred
- Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills to a wide variety of constituents, including both children and adults
- Ability to maintain quality and safety standards
- Excellent interpersonal/relationship-building and customer service skills
