Power Transformer Cost Estimator Summary:
To collect and analyze data to estimate the time, money, materials, and labor required to manufacture a product, or provide a service. Communicate with sales, operations, and the customer for updates during the bid phase & works closely with the Project Manager to incorporate project review feedback into future projects.
Cost Estimator Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with sales teams to prepare estimates and bids for clients.
- Review of customer specifications & required bid documents.
- Preparing weekly and monthly reports.
- Supporting sales efforts with marketing programs.
- Maintaining client records.
- Read blueprints and technical documents to prepare estimates.
- Collaborate with engineers, clients, purchasing and contractors on estimates.
- Recommend ways to make a product more cost effective or profitable.
Project Manager Qualifications:
- Associates degree or 5 years of experience.
- Strong computer skills and understanding Word/Excel/PowerPoint & Projects
