JOB PURPOSEThe Reno Business Development / Field Marketing Representative is responsible for developing and maintaining referral relationships within the community to drive patient growth and market expansion. This role focuses on cultivating strong partnerships with attorney offices, medical providers, and other referral sources to increase awareness of the company’s services and generate qualified patient referrals.This is a field-based position requiring regular travel within the assigned territory (Reno, Nevada).RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIESDevelop and execute territory-based business development plans to increase referral volumeBuild and maintain strong, professional relationships with attorney offices, medical clinics, and other community referral partnersConduct routine in-person visits to referral sources within the assigned marketIdentify and pursue new referral opportunities through networking, outreach, and community engagementEducate referral partners on company services, specialties, and patient care offeringsTrack referral activity and maintain accurate records in CRM or reporting systemsCollaborate with clinic leadership and operations teams to ensure a seamless patient intake and referral experienceRepresent the organization at networking events, industry functions, and community activitiesMonitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunitiesMeet or exceed established referral and patient growth targetsRelationship-driven and highly personableResults-oriented with strong accountabilityProfessional presence and business acumenStrategic thinker with the ability to execute locallyAdaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced environmentRegular and consistent attendance is an essential function of this role.Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferredMinimum 2–3 years of experience in healthcare marketing, physician liaison, or business development requiredExperience working with attorneys or legal referral networks strongly preferredStrong relationship-building and networking skillsExcellent verbal and written communication abilitiesSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently in a field-based roleStrong organizational skills and attention to detailValid driver’s license with clean driving recordStrong comprehension of HIPAA. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Proficiency in using office productivity software such as Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, etc.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address issues and make informed judgements. Exceptional oral and written communication skills with internal and external partners. Demonstrates professional leadership skills through effective communication, work habits, attitude, inter-personal skills, initiative, and follow through.Manage projects independently or through a team.Demonstrates ability to work effectively under pressure with multiple and changing priorities and deadlines as evidenced by use of tact, maturity, interpersonal effectiveness, good judgement, and discretion.Internal and external customer service orientation.Strong attention to detail. Demonstrates organization and time management skills.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDSPrimarily field-based with daily travel throughout assigned territoryOccasional evening or event-based work may be requiredAbility to lift up and push/pull up to 50 pounds for event materials and marketing suppliesProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be physically able to sit, climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl occasionally.Frequently required to talk and hear.Vision abilities required include depth, perceptions, and ability to adjust focus throughout the day.
