Position Overview
We are seeking a driven and experienced Night Shift Supervisor to lead CNC cutting and material handling operations. This role is responsible for delivering production results, maintaining quality standards, and leading team performance in a fast-paced, high-mix manufacturing environment.
Our production consists primarily of standard product lines with partially custom sizing and dimensions. The primary material processed is PET felt acoustic panels, requiring precision, organization, and strong operational oversight.
This is a key leadership role with direct impact on efficiency, output, and overall manufacturing performance.
What You’ll Do
· Lead all night shift CNC production and material handling operations
· Drive efficient workflow across multiple machines
· Ensure jobs meet dimensional and quality standards
· Oversee production of PET felt acoustic panels across varying sizes and specifications
· Proactively resolve production bottlenecks and equipment issues
· Supervise, coach, and hold accountable CNC operators and material handlers
· Monitor and enforce safety standards
· Track production performance and communicate shift results to management
· Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase throughput
What We’re Looking For
· 3+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
· Strong understanding of CNC production workflow
· Experience in high-mix or partially custom manufacturing environments preferred
· Zünd CNC experience is a plus, but not required
· Confident decision-maker with strong problem-solving skills
· Detail-oriented and quality-focused
· Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
· Must be able to work night shift hours
Shift Time: Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-2:00am
