The position has a wide range of duties and obligations, with involvement in all seven parts of the Firm. The Administrator keeps the Firm’s needs in the forefront and works closely with the Owner and rest of the executive team on strategy, planning, leadership, culture, policy, problem-solving, and decision-making. This position is most like a Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Controller in non-legal businesses. What You’ll do:
- Partner with the Owner on business planning, budgeting, and firm strategy.Lead, manage, and develop staff across all departments to ensure high performance and accountability.Oversee HR functions including hiring, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance with policies and regulations.Implement and improve firm-wide systems, workflows, and processes to drive efficiency and profitability.Supervise financial operations: budgeting, reporting, payroll, billing, and vendor management.Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and professional requirements.Oversee office operations, facilities, technology, procurement, and vendor relationships.Direct marketing, sales tracking, and client service systems to support firm growth.Monitor performance metrics, provide regular reporting, and recommend improvements to the executive team.
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or a related field, or equivalent work experience.Significant supervisory experience and experience working in a professional services firm.Experience in law firm budgeting, bookkeeping, and human resources is highly preferred.Be bilingual English-Spanish.
