Fabrication Machine Operator – 1st Shift
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 5:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Join CTech Manufacturing as a Fabrication Machine Operator and be part of the team that keeps our production moving. In this hands-on role, you’ll operate fabrication equipment, prepare materials, and ensure every project is accurate, complete, and ready for the next stage of production.

What You’ll Do
- Operate fabrication shop machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret job specifications to determine machine settings, material requirements, and thickness
- Load and unload materials using a forklift
- Perform preventative maintenance to keep machines running smoothly
- Monitor machine operations to identify defects or malfunctions
- Operate equipment including turrets, brake presses, benders, punches, and breakout devices to keep product flowing through the fabrication department
- Manufacturing setting with exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration, and airborne particles
- Noise levels can be loud—hearing protection provided as needed
Physical Requirements
- Highly active role requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the shift
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds regularly
- Required vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, with the ability to adjust focus

Job Requirements
- Ability to read and understand CAD drawings preferred.
- Knowledge of decimal and fraction conversions preferred.
- Must have the ability to read a ruler.
- Ability to read a caliper preferred.
- Communicate effectively in both verbal and written form; perform basic math functions
- Willing and able to work overtime
- Dependable with emphasis on attendance and punctuality
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to frequently lift or move items up to 50 pounds and be on your feet for entirety of shift
- While performing the duties of the jobs, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing.
