We are investing in warehouse automation, WMS optimization, and system integrations, and are looking for an engineer who can bridge technology, operations, and execution.

Role Overview

The Warehouse Process Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing and optimizing logistics and storage workflows to increase efficiency and reduce operational costs. This role sits at the intersection of industrial engineering, data analysis, and warehouse management, focusing on everything from facility layout to the integration of automated robotics. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Facility Layout Design:      Use AutoCAD to design and optimize warehouse floor plans,      material flow, and equipment placement for maximum space utilization.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and eliminate bottlenecks and waste using methodologies as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and Kaizen.
  • Automation Integration: Oversee the      implementation and maintenance of automated systems, such as Automated      Storage and Retrieval Systems (AS/RS), conveyor belts, and robotic      picking systems.
  • Systems Management: Configure and      troubleshoot Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise      Resource Planning (ERP) software to ensure seamless data flow and      operational uptime.
  • KPI Tracking: Monitor and report on      key performance indicators such as cycle times, pick rates, and storage      efficiency to drive data-informed decisions.
  • Standardization: Develop Standard      Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training materials for warehouse      staff to ensure consistency and safety. 


Requirements:

 

Required Qualifications

  • Engineering background (Industrial, Mechanical, Systems, Electrical, or similar)Strong proficiency in Excel, including the ability to analyze data, build models, and work with large datasets
  • Technical Proficiency with WMC platforms and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess current-state operations· Ability to translate operational issues into actionable system and process improvements
  • Comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, and system reports· Ability to understand both technical systems and physical warehouse operations· Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Willingness to spend time on the warehouse floor as needed
  • Experience in warehouses or distribution environments
  • Exposure to WMS, ERP, or automation systems
  • Understanding of inventory flows, UOMs, barcoding, and material handling
  • Experience working with vendors or system integrators
  • Familiarity with API integrations or system-to-system data flows
  • Experience leading or supporting process improvement initiatives
  • Strong problem solving skills, project management expertise, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams




Salary Information

$80000.00 - $100000.00 Annual Salary
