Primary Job Functions:

  • Communicate with guest to compile food and drink order.
  • Answer guest questions about food, beverages, and our facilities accurately and in a friendly manner.
  • Key guest’s food and drink order into POS system.
  • Serves alcoholic beverages in an appropriate manner consistent with company standards.
  • Develops relationships with guests.
  • Identifies food orders when ready and delivers items to tables in a timely manner.
  • Communicates with food and beverage staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Ensures that guests have a positive and memorable experience at Hoffbrau Steaks.
  • Make appropriate change when necessary.
  • Process credit card transactions in accordance with company standards.
  • Maintains full knowledge of menus, recipes, and other pertinent information.
  • Constantly increasing knowledge of food, beverages, and other products and services.
  • Does side work during non-busy hours.
  • Maintains a safe, clean, organized, and stocked work area.
  • Prepares work area for opening, mid-shift, or closing in accordance with company standards.
  • Performs additional responsibilities, as requested by the management team.
  • Responsible for constant sanitation, organization, and proper food handling.



Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must clearly speak and write English.
  • Required to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and some holidays.
  • Must be able to lift and carry 40 pounds.
  • Required to purchase appropriate uniform upon hiring.
  • Required to stand, walk, lift, climb stairs and bend for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to change kegs out when necessary.


Certifications and/or Testing Required:

  • Maintains a current TABC serving permit and food handler’s permit. Must be able to follow appropriate serving practices as outlined by TABC and company policy
