We are growing and need to add a Human Resources Generalist to our Team!
Job Summary: The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting HR functions and ensuring the smooth operation of various HR processes.

Job Duties:
  • Coordinate employee benefit renewals
  • Monitor and respond to HR Admin email
  • Create and maintain confidential personnel files
  • Provide clerical and technical support
  • Perform records management activities according to the Local Government Common Records Retention Schedule (CORE)
  • Administer the employee recognition program
  • Compose routine correspondence using proper grammar and punctuation
  • Communicate effectively and professionally
  • Distribute new employee paperwork and welcome email materials
  • Respond to verification of employment requests within 24 hours
  • Run various reports and queries exporting information from company software
  • Timekeeping for staff
  • Prepare new hire paperwork and complete the onboarding process for new employees, including running backgrounds.
  • Notify management when new hires are good to start.
  • Monitor completion of pre-employment tasks.
  • Maintain and coordinate employee recognition programs.
  • Coordinate human resources special projects, job fairs and community events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma
  • 3+ year in Human Resources
  • Associate’s degree -Preferred not required- You may replace with work experience
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Previous experience working in the Trades preferred but not required

Salary Information

$35 - $38 Hourly Wage
