Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our interdisciplinary therapy team. The ideal candidate will support licensed Physical Therapists in delivering individualized treatment plans to children and/or adults with a variety of physical needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement treatment plans designed by the Physical Therapist.
  • Provide hands-on support during therapy sessions focused on improving strength, mobility, coordination, and overall function.
  • Track and document patient progress in accordance with professional standards and agency policies.
  • Communicate effectively with therapists, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintain a safe, encouraging, and inclusive therapeutic environment.

Requirements:

 

  • Associate’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Current state licensure as a PTA (or eligibility to obtain).
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
  • Experience in pediatric or adult rehabilitation preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
