About this position
Description:
The licensed psychologist will perform psychological evaluations for children referrals, primarily focusing on Autism Assessment Screenings and ADOS-2 Administration. The ideal candidate will have experience with common comorbidities with ASD, including ADHD, anxiety, and other related disorders.
Requirements:Primary Responsibilities
- Providing Autism Assessment Screenings.
- Conduct initial interviews with parents.
- Familiarize parents with the assessment process.
- Answer any questions as the initial portion of the ADOS-2.
- Administer the ADOS-2.
- Document and summarize the results.
- Generate reports for client records.
- Train the clinical team on the interpretation of the ADOS-2 and other Autism Screening Tools.
- Work collaboratively with the team to develop cohesive Diagnostic Reports for clients.
- Promote continuation of care.
- Provide documentation, including full psychological evaluations and clinical notes.
Qualifications
- Licensed Psychologist in North Carolina (required).
- Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and common comorbidities such as ADHD and anxiety.
- Proficiency in administering and interpreting the ADOS-2.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to high-quality care and professional development.
- Spanish language skills are a plus!
