About the role
HighGate is seeking a highly technical Principal Oracle Cloud Integration Architect (Financials) to drive the modernization and execution of our corporate financial backbone. Rather than a traditional product owner, we are looking for a hands-on technology expert and project leader who will own the architecture, integration strategy, and technical delivery of our Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP.
In this high-impact role, you will bridge the gap between complex corporate finance requirements and engineering execution. You will lead technical initiatives, design scalable architectures, and pioneer the use of modern AI to automate highly regulated back-office workflows.
What you will do:
- Own the Architecture: Drive the end-to-end technical execution and architecture of the Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP ecosystem, making critical design decisions and guiding development teams.
- Lead Technical Delivery: Manage the technical implementation of ERP projects from inception to deployment, translating complex business and financial requirements into actionable technical project phases.
- Architect Complex Integrations: Design, build, and manage fault-tolerant, high-volume integrations between various Hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) and the core Oracle ecosystem using modern middleware and APIs (e.g., Oracle Integration Cloud - OIC).
- Pioneer AI & Automation: Lead the implementation of 'Agentic AI' and advanced automation workflows to streamline back-office corporate finance operations, reducing manual reconciliation and improving anomaly detection.
- Bridge Finance & Engineering: Act as the primary technical liaison for US-based finance stakeholders, collaborating closely with accounting and engineering teams to balance strict financial mandates (like SOX compliance) with rapid technical innovation.
What you bring:
- Technical Depth: 8+ years of experience in software engineering, systems architecture, or technical consulting.
- Oracle ERP Expertise: Deep, hands-on technical experience configuring and architecting Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP (specifically Financials).
- Integration Mastery: Strong background in designing scalable APIs, microservices, and utilizing enterprise integration platforms (e.g., Oracle SOA, MuleSoft, Boomi, or Kafka).
- Project Leadership: Proven track record of technically leading large-scale system implementations, cloud migrations, or complex enterprise integrations.
- Financial Acumen: Solid technical understanding of corporate finance processes, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), month-end close, and SOX compliance rules.
- Communication: Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical architectures to non-technical financial executives.
Nice if you have:
- Project Management Certifications: Active PMP, CSM (Certified ScrumMaster), or CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) certification is a strong plus.
- Experience in the Hospitality/Hotel industry, specifically integrating Property Management Systems (e.g., Opera, Mews) into enterprise ERPs.
- Practical, hands-on experience deploying AI/ML models, LLMs, or Generative AI tools within enterprise back-office workflows.
