What You’ll Do:

  • Provide specialized wound and skin care to residents in accordance with physician orders and best practices
  • Assess resident treatment needs and implement appropriate wound care interventions
  • Monitor healing progress and adjust care plans as needed
  • Educate and supervise nursing staff and CNAs to ensure high standards of care
  • Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations, as well as organizational policies
  • Support the MDS office with clinical documentation and care coordination as assigned

What You’ll Need:

  • Current Illinois RN license required
  • Wound care certification required
  • Minimum of 2 years of wound care experience, preferably in long-term care
  • Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
  • Ability to follow written and verbal clinical instructions and procedures
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care
