What You’ll Do:
- Provide specialized wound and skin care to residents in accordance with physician orders and best practices
- Assess resident treatment needs and implement appropriate wound care interventions
- Monitor healing progress and adjust care plans as needed
- Educate and supervise nursing staff and CNAs to ensure high standards of care
- Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations, as well as organizational policies
- Support the MDS office with clinical documentation and care coordination as assigned
What You’ll Need:
- Current Illinois RN license required
- Wound care certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of wound care experience, preferably in long-term care
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal clinical instructions and procedures
- Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care
