Position Summary
MCT Companies is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Delivery Driver and Inventory Assistant to support our Parts Department. This role is critical for ensuring timely delivery of components to our customers and maintaining high standards of inventory accuracy within the warehouse. The ideal candidate will have a strong driving record and a background in warehouse operations.
Requirements:Schedule & Compensation
Hours: Part-time, strictly under 30 hours per week.
Days: 3 days per week (Primary focus: Tuesdays and Fridays).
Pay Rate: Competitive Hourly (TBD based on experience).
Key Responsibilities
Delivery Operations: Safely transport parts to various locations using company-provided vehicles; navigate efficiently using smartphone GPS applications.
Inventory Control: Assist the Parts Manager with inventory organization and stock replenishment.
Cycle Counting: Conduct regular, scheduled audits of physical stock to ensure system accuracy.
Receiving: Inspect incoming shipments for damage, verify quantities against packing slips, and process items into inventory.
Warehouse Maintenance: Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move heavy components safely; maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Required Qualifications
Licensing: Must possess a current, valid driver’s license.
Driving Record: Must provide a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and meet company insurance standards.
Technical Skills: Proficient in using smartphones for navigation and logistics apps; experience with warehouse equipment (forklift/pallet jack) required.
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift and maneuver 25 lbs consistently throughout the shift.
Ability to lift and maneuver up to 75 lbs occasionally.
Preferred Experience:
Previous background in Inventory Control, Cycle Counting, or Warehouse receiving
Prior experience as a Delivery Driver
