Why This Role Is Different 

This is not traditional primary care. 

As a Concierge Nurse Practitioner, you’ll serve as HealthBar’s go-to clinical support for occupational health needs across our partner businesses. You’ll step into a role that is flexible, autonomous, and highly trusted — supporting workplace injuries, DOT physicals, drug testing, and employer-based health services. 

This is a role for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, can think on their feet, and enjoys variety in their clinical day. 

Schedule & Availability 

0.8 FTE (approx. 32 hours per week) Monday–Friday Variable hours between roughly 7:00am–6:00pm Availability required for in-the-moment occupational health needs 

This is a flexible position. Exact daily hours may vary depending on client needs, including occasional urgent workplace injury assessments. Many occupational health services are pre-scheduled, but some situations require same-day response and onsite support. 

If you value flexibility and don’t need a rigid daily template, this role can be incredibly rewarding. 

 

What Your Days Look Like 

You’ll support occupational health services across HealthBar clients, including: 

Conducting workplace injury assessments (virtual or onsite) and providing treatment or referrals Managing patient follow-up and documentation Following workers’ compensation protocols Performing and overseeing drug and alcohol testing Completing DOT physical exams and required documentation Conducting pre-employment physical exams Supporting occupational health needs within the Healthcare Partnership Program Providing clinical coverage for open shifts at HPP businesses when needed

Compensation 

$83,000–$92,000 annually 0.8 FTE (32 hours/week), potential to increase to 1.0

The (Required) Qualifications 

We’d love to welcome everyone — but to practice safely and legally, we do need: 

Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program Active, unrestricted Michigan RN license Active, unrestricted FNP certification (AANP or ANCC) Active Michigan NP Specialty Certification 2+ years of nursing experience (med-surg, ER, ICU, acute care, public health, school nursing, or outpatient preferred) BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) within 90 days of hire 

Preferred (But Not Required) 

DOT certification Occupational health experience Willingness to travel locally The pay range for this role is:83,000 - 92,000 USD per year(Grand Rapids, MI)
