Shift Lead

  The position of Shift Lead is to assist the Supervisor with the Inspector Packer’s daily work assignments, work order management, production, and scrap reporting. Assists to ensure presses are running at or better than standard through communication with the supervisor. Notify supervisor when press is down and monitors the quality levels being produced.  Although the job description lists the essential functions, due to unexpected circumstances or events, the associate may be asked to perform functions outside of the listed duties on a limited basis to assist the plant operations.

• Conducts their responsibilities in a professional and ethical manner.
• Works closely with supervisor when priorities are not clear and has difficulties with any Inspector/Packer, Material Handler, or QA Inspector. 
• Recognizes everyone’s ability to learn, learning curve, and adapts to changing circumstances and environments. 
• Encourage and functions in a team atmosphere not only on the assigned shift but, other shifts as well. 
• Demonstrated willingness to assist beyond assign shift as requested or instructed by the shift supervisor. 
• Comply with all company policies. 
• Assists supervisor in ensuring workstations are clean and organized. 
• Communicate at high levels and in a timely manner to the supervisor and management. 
• Functions as a Leader on the shift.
