We’re hiring an ERP Technical Specialist to maintain and enhance our enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. This role includes hands-on SQL work, reporting development, workflow customization, user guidance, and assistance with system upgrades and cloud initiatives.

Position Overview

The ERP Technical Specialist supports the stability, functionality, and ongoing improvement of Tencarva’s ERP platform (IFS) and related business applications. This role works closely with the Business Systems Manager, ERP Technical Lead, and cross-functional teams across the organization to ensure reliable system performance, accurate data, and effective user support. 


This is a hands-on ERP systems role — not a general IT helpdesk position. 


Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical resource for our ERP system (IFS) and connected applications
  • Support ERP configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and day-to-day system performance
  • Develop and maintain ERP reports, lobby elements, and custom forms
  • Create and manage custom events to improve workflow and system functionality
  • Assist with ERP upgrades, patches, and cloud-related initiatives
  • Maintain legacy data warehouse structures and support data integrity
  • Monitor system security roles, scheduled tasks, and overall technical integrity
  • Respond to and resolve ERP-related helpdesk tickets
  • Provide user support and functional guidance across the organization
  • Assist with system training and documentation related to new features or upgrades
  • Serve as backup to the IFS Technical Lead

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field — or equivalent practical experience
  • 3–5 years of hands-on ERP technical support experience
  • Strong SQL experience within an ERP environment
  • Experience supporting ERP upgrades, migrations, or cloud-based ERP platforms 
  • Experience developing reports, workflows, or system customizations
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work effectively with finance, operations, and divisional teams
  • Experience with IFS ERP is preferred but not required.
