This is a 100% on-site position and supports multiple, small companies. Experience working in a small company environment and as a working manager, a multi-tasker, will lead to greater success.
This position leads corporate Human Resources including planning and directing all human resources’ functions, communications, and administrative work for the companies. This role leads a small team of HR professionals, ensures compliance with employment laws and best practices while promoting innovative HR solutions. General Essential Functions include:
Leads, plans, develops, organizes, implements, directs, and evaluates the organization’s human resources’ function and performanceTranslates strategic and tactical business plans into HR strategic and operational plansParticipates in development of Company’s business plans and programs as strategic partner with particular emphasis its people impactEstablishes and implements short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating proceduresLeads HR initiatives for MA&D; manages due diligence, transition and integrationLeads, develops, and builds strong HR team in cutting edge, progressive HR programs Works across organization to develop and implement HR strategies, processes, policies, procedures; promotes entrepreneurial and innovative culturePartners with business on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and skills assessment; recommends organizational structures and staffing levels to accomplish company goals and objectivesOversees all areas of HR including, but not limited to, legal compliance, benefits, compensation, incentive programs, employee relations, retirement plans, talent acquisition, employee development, policies and procedures, and employee engagement; develops and implements progressive and proactive compensation and benefits programs Sets standard by which the entire HR function and other critical operating departments are measured; ensures staff, processes and infrastructure in place to encourage and sustain an environment for empowered employees Leads team in continuous improvement; ensures solid business processes in place and utilizedStandardizes HR processes and solutions across organizations to achieve strategic business initiatives and deliver business resultsOversees design and development of compensation strategy and programs; ensures regulatory compliance and competitive compensation programEvaluates Company culture; provides recommendations for changes to accomplish Company goals and objectives; assists in development and implementation of plans to achieve expected Company cultureDevelops and implements staffing strategies and implementation plans and programs to identify talent within and outside corporation for positions of responsibility; identifies appropriate and effective external sources for candidatesEvaluates and recommends human resource outsourcing opportunities and technology solutions to improve HR processes, procedures and data management Develops and manages annual HR budget and all Company labor budgetsKSA's & Experience Required15+ years overall HR experience; 7-10 years in management roles

Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or MBA highly desiredBachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business requiredJD or multiple legal courses preferredQuality/Continuous Improvement/Lean certification helpful
