Maintains and   supports the integrity of the operating system environment and various   computer systems. Performs systems   maintenance tasks, such as system back-up, recovery, and file maintenance to   promote uptime and efficient performance. Acquires, installs, and tests system software upgrades and computer   components. Configures software and   resolves technical problems. Maintains   documentation of IT infrastructure and troubleshooting procedures.

  

Key   Responsibilities


System Maintenance

· Perform system maintenance tasks, such   as system backups, recovery, and file maintenance to ensure uptime and efficient performance.

Software Installation

· Acquire, install, and test system software upgrades and computer components.

 Technical Support

· Configure software and resolve technical problems for users.

 Security Management

· Monitor   the internet connection for security risks and employ the latest security protocols.

User Management

· Set up new users and provide them with access.

· Offboard users and disable access.

· Manage IT inventory.

 Documentation

· Maintain documentation of IT infrastructure and troubleshooting procedures.

Advance Troubleshooting

· Address more complex technical issues and escalate when necessary.

 Performance Monitoring

· Monitor system performance and ensure the integrity and availability of hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes.

 Projects

· Complete projects as assigned.

  


Requirements:

 

Preferred   Experience & Qualifications

· 1-2+ years of experience in systems administration within a mid-to-large enterprise environment

· Experience with Active directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and certificate services

· Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, Entra ID/Azure AD, Intune)

· Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms

· Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation and task optimization

· Exposure to cloud infrastructure (Azure and/or AWS) preferred

· Experience supporting CMMC, NIST 800-171, or similar compliance frameworks is a plus

Certifications (Preferred):

· CompTIA Security+

· Microsoft role-based certifications
