About this position
Position Description: Polk County's Waste & Recycling Division is seeking ENVIRONMENTAL COMPLIANCE WORKERS (GENERAL LABORERS) to assist with hand labor on various landfill projects as needed with minimal direction and supervision. MUST BE ABLE TO FOLLOW DIRECTIONS.
REQUIREMENTS:
- must be physically capable of performing labor intense work.
- must have reliable transportation to and from work.
TO QUALIFY: - Must be able to pass a Nationwide background check.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen
- Must hold a valid FL driver's license.
Schedule: (40+ hours)
MONDAY - FRIDAY 7am-6pm with an hour Lunch
SATURDAY 7am-4pm, with an hour Lunch.
Position has potential for Full Time employment.
