Centerboard’s Family Resource Center in Lynn, in collaboration with Eliot Behavioral Health, is seeking a dedicated, bilingual (Spanish/English) Family Partner with lived experience in CRA-related issues or children with special needs to join our dynamic team. About the Role

As a Family Partner, you will play a crucial role in supporting families engaged with the Family Resource Center (FRC), assisting in trauma-informed intakes, assessments, and providing services to families experiencing CRA-related issues. You will work closely with the FRC clinician to develop and implement Family Support Plans, conduct workshops, and ensure that our services are culturally sensitive and strengths-based.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct intake assessments with FRC-approved tools and screening measures.
  • Collaborate closely with the FRC Clinician to support CRA-involved youth or youth at risk of CRA. Assist the clinician in completing the CANS assessment and developing the Family Support Plan for family members experiencing CRA-related issues.
  • Implement the Family Support Plan with support from other FRC staff.
  • Manage playroom and ensure the safety of children with volunteers while parents attend workshops.
  • Lead and facilitate parenting groups, Evidence-Based Parenting Groups, or other workshops as assigned.
  • Work with FRC Family Members as part of the FRC team, prioritizing families experiencing CRA-related issues.
  • Develop creative and "outside the box" interventions to support individuals and/or families.
  • Coordinate and communicate with administrative staff to resolve administrative issues related to the program’s operation.
  • Complete administrative duties associated with Family Member service provision, including record-keeping and data entry.
  • Engage in community outreach activities as assigned.
  • Participate in regular FRC staff, leadership, and Cohort meetings.
  • Complete other tasks or job assignments as required.


Competencies and Qualifications:


  • Must have “lived experience” or familiarity with CRA-related issues.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to maintain professionalism in all interactions.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in a changing environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members to support program objectives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn FileMaker and other data entry systems as needed.
  • Must maintain current CANS certification.
  • A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record is required.
  • Must participate in all Eliot Services and FRC required trainings.
  • Bilingual candidates (Spanish/English) preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of experience as a caregiver or parent of a special needs child preferred.


Compensation & Benefits:


  • Hourly Rate of $22.77 an hour, plus a 6% bilingual salary increase if fluent in the needed language capacity.
