About the Role:

The Senior Civil-Structural Engineer will play a pivotal role in the design and implementation of structural systems for mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction projects. This position requires a deep understanding of engineering principles to ensure that all structures are safe, efficient, and compliant with industry standards. The engineer will lead projects from conception through to completion, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality results. Additionally, the role involves conducting site assessments and feasibility studies to inform design decisions and mitigate risks. Ultimately, the Senior Civil-Structural Engineer will contribute to the successful execution of projects that support the company's operational goals and sustainability initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil-structural engineering, preferably in the mining or oil and gas sectors.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
  • Experience with advanced structural analysis software.
  • Familiarity with environmental regulations and sustainability practices in engineering.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and analyze structural components for mining and extraction facilities.
  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate project viability.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to develop comprehensive project plans.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and industry standards.
  • Prepare detailed engineering reports and documentation for project stakeholders.
